At the beginning of November 2024, Emma Dunkley and 16 members from NFYFC travelled to Canada as part of National Young Farmers travel opportunities. This was an amazing experience for Emma and the YFC members who toured farms and also attended the Royal Winter Fair. Within the farm tours members visited 2 dairy farms, a maple tree farm, a livestock and farmers market and a soya bean processing plant.

The intrepid explorers also had dinner at the top of the CN Tower which by all accounts was an experience in itself. At the end of the week the group spent 2 days at the Royal Winter Fair where they got to see the Canadian National Holstein Show.

Following the trip Emma stated she would encourage anyone to apply for NFYFCs travel opportunities and make the most of your young farmers membership.
