What is it?

A day of fun, and rural skills based competitions:

• Orienteering
• Dry Stone Walling
• Sheep Dog Trials
• NFYFC Fence Erecting
• NFYFC Farm Machinery Skills
• Sheep Kenning
• 4 exhibits (Christmas Card, Cake containing a Vegetable, Shepherd’s Crook or Walking Stick, 4 eggs and Sewn Apron)
• Just For Fun competitions – enter on the day including sheep kenning £1 entry

• BBQ food and snacks available – cash payments preferred.
• Toilet facilities will be available on site.
• Car parking will be available on site.
• Prize giving should be approx 3.00pm – 3.30pm tbc
• The fencing and farm machinery skills are qualifiers for the Northern Area Field Day 2026.
