Nidderdale Show, due to be held at Bewerley Park, Pateley Bridge, on Monday 25th September 2017 is to host YFC Classes.
Classes can be entered by any member of the Yorkshire Federation of Young Farmers and include:
- 410 – Decorated Eggs – maximum of 4 eggs on any theme. To fit in a display 14.8 x 21 cm
(5.8” x 8.3”) (A5) – Junior - 411 – Four Decorated Buns – to be judged on taste and appearance – Junior
- 412 – A Mug Stand – any medium, to be display with six mugs – Junior
- 413 – A Cow Bell – made from suitable metal and include a 5 cm (2”) strap. Bell size 20 cm (8”) x 20 cm (8”) – Open
- 414 – A Peg Bag – Agricultural theme – any medium. Max size 30 cm (12”) x 30 cm (12”) – Open
- 415 – Three mini desserts individually labelled and ingredients to be displayed on A5. To fit in a display 30 cm (12”) x 30 cm (12”) – Open
Trophies to be awarded:
- YFC Cup for most points gained by a Junior member of the Nidderdale Young Farmers’ Club in the Domestic Classes 410-412.
- Rosemary Dawson Cup for most points gained by a Senior member (17 yrs and over) of the Nidderdale Young Farmers’ Club in the Domestic Classes 413-415.
- The Hardcastle Trophy to be awarded to the Best Exhibit in the YFC Domestic classes (winner can be any YFC).
